Erawan falls
Taxi đi khoảng 100USD từ âm kết thúc 5pm
Located in West Thailand in the Tenasserim Hills range of Kanchanaburi Province, Erawan National Park is home to one of the most popular falls in the country. Founded in 1975 as Thailand’s 12th National Park, it covers an area of 550 km².

The major attraction of the park is the 7-tiered Erawan Falls with emerald green ponds. There are also several impressive and long caves within the park, some of them deeper inside the park, few of them along the roads around the park. The park and the falls are named after the three-headed white elephant of Hindu mythology. The top tier of the falls is said to resemble an elephant head.

Around 80% of the park is mixed deciduous forests and the rest on higher elevations deeper inside deciduous dipterocarp and dry evergreen forests. The park consists of limestone hills, plains and a number of streams. Elevations are around 165 to 996 meters asl.

The surrounding mountains protects the park from eastern monsoon resulting in less rainfall compared to the other forested areas further west. The rainy season is May to October with most rainfall around September to October and a bit into November. Rest of the year is quite dry, with a bit cooler weather around November to January.

Explore The Ancient City In Samut Prakan

The Ancient City is a relatively new tourist attraction located in Samut Prakan, an adjacent province to the south of Bangkok and it is one of the best places to visit if you have only half a day to spare.

The Ancient City is a massive 360-acre park filled with a ton of very impressive replicas of all the popular Thailand landmarks from around the country, all located in one place for you to explore.

With the slogan, "Travel all of Thailand in one place", there are more than 120 attractions scattered around the 360 acres area. They claimed it is one of the largest private outdoor museums in the world and after spending more than 3 hours riding around the entire park, it definitely feels like it.

The park is divided into northern, southern, northeastern, and central regions connected to form the actual shape of Thailand itself and all of the replicated architectures are also in the same location as the real thing on the map. It is actually quite impressive if you look at the map of the Ancient City park.

Best of all, the Ancient City is reachable by the BTS sky train. You just have to hop on one to Kheha BTS station and from there you should be able to get a free shuttle bus provided by the establishment that will take you to the Ancient City in no time.

Many people often visit the Ancient City together with the famous Erawan Museum and its massive Elephant statue. They are owned by the same owner and you can buy a bundle ticket which includes the entrance tickets for both places.

You can get to Erawan Museum by taking the BTS sky train and getting off at Chang Erawan BTS Station. You can also get to the Ancient City from Erawan Museum with their free shuttle service making it one of the most convenient places to visit on this list.
